Architectural photography deserves a framing solution that feels refined, considered and built to last. For this recent project, Jubilee Framers completed two custom-framed architectural prints for Joe Adsett Architects, creating a clean gallery-style presentation that highlights the strength, detail and atmosphere of each image.
The client wanted the new works framed to match the presentation style of previously completed pieces. The specification included a white frame finish, float-mounted artwork, an oversized white mat surround with black core, UltraVue glazing and a deep spacer system.
A Clean White Frame for Contemporary Architectural Photography
White framing works beautifully with architectural imagery because it gives the artwork space to breathe. It keeps the presentation crisp, minimal and professional while allowing the architecture, light and composition to remain the focus.
For these pieces, we used a wide white frame profile with a recessed presentation. This created depth around the artwork and gave the finished pieces a premium, gallery-style feel. The frame design also helped the architectural prints sit comfortably in a commercial interior, where clean lines and subtle finishes matter.
Float-Mounted Artwork with Oversized Matting
The client requested a presentation consistent with their existing framed pieces, so we built the new works around a float-mounted finish with an oversized white mat surround.
Float mounting gives the artwork a sense of dimension by raising it slightly within the frame. The oversized matting adds visual breathing room and helps the image feel more considered, rather than simply framed to the edge.
This approach suits architectural photography particularly well. It enhances the precision of the image, complements the structure of the building, and gives the finished piece a refined commercial presentation.
UltraVue Glazing for Clarity and Protection
We also included UltraVue glazing as part of the framing specification. This glazing helps reduce reflections while maintaining excellent clarity, making it a strong choice for detailed photographic work.
Architectural prints often include subtle tonal shifts, fine lines and carefully balanced light. Clear, low-reflective glazing allows viewers to appreciate those details without the distraction of heavy glare.
Matching Existing Framing for a Consistent Interior
One of the most important parts of this project was consistency. The client wanted the new framed architectural prints to match previous works already completed for their office presentation. The earlier correspondence noted the goal of keeping the same overall specification, including float mounting, oversized matting, UltraVue glazing, a deep spacer system and white frame finish.
Matching existing framing is especially important for commercial spaces. When artworks sit together across an office, gallery wall, reception area or meeting room, consistent framing creates a polished and cohesive result.

Custom Framing for Architects, Designers and Commercial Interiors
At Jubilee Framers, we regularly work with architects, designers, photographers and businesses who need professional framing for commercial interiors. We help clients choose framing that suits the artwork, the space and the overall design intent.
For architectural photography, we often recommend clean frame profiles, generous matting, low-reflective glazing and refined spacing details. These choices help the finished work look intentional, professional and timeless.
Finished and Ready for Collection
Once completed, both framed pieces were finished and ready for collection. The final presentation delivered a clean, modern result that matched the client’s existing framed works and elevated the architectural photography with a refined gallery-style finish.
