This custom display board was developed for the Amari Toowong project, combining premium materials, layered detailing and refined presentation to support client engagement and design storytelling.

A Refined, Layered Presentation for Interior Selections

Architectural finishes boards play a crucial role in communicating design intent. For this project, the goal was to create a clean, sophisticated presentation that would complement the high-end residential aesthetic of the Amari Toowong development.

Working closely with the design team, we carefully planned the layout to ensure each material was displayed with clarity, balance and visual harmony. The final result is a structured yet organic arrangement that highlights texture, colour and form.

From natural stone and engineered timber to fluted glass and fabric finishes, every element was positioned to guide the viewer through the material story of the project.

Custom Floating Frame with Whitewash Finish

We built the display board inside a bespoke whitewash floater frame, designed to provide a contemporary architectural finish while allowing the material palette to remain the focal point.

This framing approach:

  • Creates visual depth and shadow lines

  • Enhances the premium feel of the presentation

  • Protects and supports the layered components

  • Allows for long-term use in client meetings and showroom environments

The frame was fabricated to precise dimensions, ensuring durability while maintaining a refined, minimal aesthetic.

Precision Mounting and Fabrication

Each material sample was individually prepared, cut and mounted using archival and professional fabrication methods. This ensures long-term stability, even with heavier materials such as stone and hardware.

Custom Laser-Cut Numbering System

To enhance usability and clarity, we produced a custom laser-cut acrylic numbering system. Each number was precision cut and installed to correspond with the legend panel.

This approach provides:

Professionally Designed Material Legend

We also produced a custom printed legend panel to accompany the display. The legend ensures that every finish is clearly identified and aligns with project documentation.
